Shardiya Navratri is going to start on 26 September 2022 and will run till 5 October 2022. During Navratri, nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped for the entire nine days. It is believed that by worshiping one girl there is opulence, pleasure, and salvation by worshiping two girls, Dharma, Artha, and the Kama by worshiping three girls, Rajapada by worshiping four girls, Vidya from worshiping five girls, six by worshiping six girls. Kinds of siddhis, good fortune by the worship of seven girls, happiness and wealth by worshiping eight girls, and worship of nine girls increase dominance in the world.
Method of worship
You should invite girls a day or two in advance for Kumarika worship. On the day of Kanya Pujan, welcome all the girls at home with respect and chant the names of Navdurga. Make the girls sit on a clean seat or in a comfortable place. After washing the feet of the girls, take blessings by touching their feet. Apply kumkum on the forehead of girls. Treat all the girls as the form of Mother Bhagwati and feed them according to their wishes. After the meal, give gifts to the girls according to your ability and take blessings by touching their feet again and send them off with respect.
